TYMLEZ releases AWS & GCP Terraform setup for the Hedera Guardian
TYMLEZ releases infrastructure-as-code for deploying Hedera Guardian on AWS and GCP using Terraform, with autoscaling and production-ready Kubernetes setup.
The TYMLEZ team have been hard at work over the past 6 months developing out our pilots against our customer requirements.
The Hedera Guardian is a best-in-class Policy Workflow Engine that allows for the orchestration of various workflows on the Hedera network. TYMLEZ are using this alongside the various policies we are building for each of our clients, to ensure that the captured energy and emissions readings are fed to the blockchain in a completely secure manner.
Envision Blockchain are the team behind building this fantastic piece of software and TYMLEZ have worked closely with them and the rest of the Hedera ecosystem to prove out the software and get it ready for a Production Deployment later this month.
Terraform & TYMLEZ
TYMLEZ utilises infrastructure as code in everything we do, as a multi-cloud entity we have chosen Terraform as our IaC provider because it allows for cross cloud deployments to be handled within a single tool and syntax.
TYMLEZ has created the guardian-terraform repository, a full-stack Kubernetes installation for the Hedera Guardian allowing for it to deployed onto almost any platform, we have orchestrated this setup using Terraform and written integrations for AWS & GCP out of the box to provide a best-effort production ready installation for the Guardian.
Out of the box the Terraform setup comes with:
- Custom VPC for the Guardian
- Helm Charts for each of the Guardian Services published by Envision
- Persistent Volume Claims where required
- Stateful sets where required
- Autoscaling (both vertical and horizontal)
- Basic Firewall / Port blocking (AWS Security Groups, GCP Firewall)
